Massage for the Life You Actually Want to Live

A good massage is not just about sore muscles.

It is about what becomes possible when your body feels lighter, your nervous system settles, and the stress of work, responsibility, training, travel, and daily life begins to unwind.

Many people come in carrying neck and shoulder tension, back pain, hip tightness, physical fatigue, emotional pressure, repetitive strain, or the sense that their body has been asking for care for too long.

Massage gives you a place to pause, be cared for, set down what you have been carrying, and walk back into your life with more ease.

At Spencer Tribwell Integrated Practice, massage is grounded, skilled, collaborative, and deeply attentive. Each session is shaped around your body, your comfort, your goals, and the kind of relief or restoration that would be most meaningful for you.

Modalities Offered

  • Therapeutic deep tissue
  • Sports massage
  • Swedish
  • Myofascial Release
  • Trigger Point
  • Massage Cupping
  • Gua Sha
  • Focused neck, shoulder, back, hip, leg, arm, or foot work
  • Nervous System Informed pacing and integration

Effective massage is not simply about working harder or deeper. It is about helping your body receive skilled treatment at the right pressure and pace.

My Approach to Massage

My work is focused, therapeutic, intuitive, and nervous system-informed.

Some sessions are more targeted and corrective. Some are more spacious and integrative. Many are both.

The goal is not to force the body into change. The goal is to listen well, work skillfully, apply the right pressure at the right time, and help your body remember that ease is possible.

I pay attention to the whole person — not just the symptom, not just the tight muscle, and not just the area that hurts.

Your body exists inside a life.

That means your stress, work, posture, movement, emotions, responsibilities, and habits all shape how tension shows up.

The session does not need to be complicated.

It just needs to be thoughtful.

A Collaborative Session, Designed Around You

Every session begins with a brief check-in.

We clarify what is happening in your body, which areas need attention, what pressure feels right, and what result would be most meaningful for you.

You do not need the perfect words.

Clear communication is welcome throughout the massage so the work remains effective, comfortable, and centered around you.

Who This Work Is For

Massage may be a good fit for people experiencing neck, shoulder, back, hip, leg, foot, or jaw tension; stress-related muscle holding; soreness from work, training, travel, or repetitive movement; physical fatigue; or a desire to feel more relaxed, mobile, and present.

This work is especially supportive for people who carry a lot—professionals, caregivers, creatives, healers, leaders, parents, athletes, and people who spend much of their lives giving attention outward.

Massage helps you bring some of that attention back home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you recommend 60 or 90 minutes?

For most clients, 90 minutes provides the most complete experience. Sixty minutes works well for one or two specific areas or maintenance care.

Is this deep-tissue massage?

It can be when appropriate, but deeper is not always better. Effective bodywork uses the right pressure at the right time so your body can receive the work.

What should I wear?

Most clients undress to their comfort level and remain professionally draped. Only the area being worked is uncovered.

Can I request pressure changes?

Yes. You may request more or less pressure, a different focus, an adjustment, or a pause at any time.

Is massage a replacement for medical care?

No. Massage is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Consult an appropriate licensed healthcare provider regarding medical conditions, injuries, or concerns.
